We're on the hunt for a new team member to join our Production Team as a Producer (Project Manager/Product Owner/Account Manager) working on cutting-edge creative and software projects with well-known clients in luxury, beauty, fashion, and art.
About Holition
Holition is an interdisciplinary and collaborative, human-centred design-first agency that specialises in digital storytelling, augmented reality, luxury and beauty retail, and experiential design. As such we are tech agnostic and build whatever we need in-house using whatever software/hardware as necessary, or none at all.
About the Production Team
Holograms, augmented reality, and retail: Oh my! Our production team is a close-knit group that shares a passion for working on new, cutting edge, multi-platform projects/products utilising the latest in creative, digital and experiential design. We work primarily in the fashion, beauty, and luxury space, but also do funky stuff with artists, academia, and smaller brands.
About the Role:
We are looking for someone passionate about what we do and being motivated by meaningful design and tech is important.
You will take projects from pitch to delivery, liaising with clients and helping ensure A) delivery of products B) quality of products and C) stakeholder satisfaction. You will be a proactive problem solver, process-oriented organiser, and clear communicator.
As we begin pitching ideas to new or existing clients, you will help organise requirements and ensure communication between stakeholders is clear and that the pitch is achievable and relevant. You will work with a variety of stakeholders, including executives, researchers, marketers, creatives, software developers, hardware suppliers, and other specialists, so learning the lingo, perspective, and process of those groups is key.
As pitches turn into projects you will also help scope work based on designs and requirements and bring together contracts as needed. We utilise a mixed methodology of project management that is part Agile but also lets us hit strict deadlines and quality bars of delivery.
During projects you will help coordinate the work of the project team(s) to prevent blocks to delivery, and take on any work as needed to accomplish delivery. Sometimes that means travel and meetings, sometimes it means doing research and finding suppliers for specific things, sometimes it means calibrating digital makeup or helping with surveys/user interviews. It really depends on the project.
Required skills/experience:
-Good communication skills are paramount (verbal and written)
-Able to prioritise work and bring a composed and methodical attitude to high pressure/stress situations
-Experience working in account/client management and relations
-Ability to work well with and be personable to a variety of people, regardless of personal background or professional status/title
-Must be curious and eager to learn/evolve quickly
-Know how/when to ask the right kind of questions to elicit appropriate responses
-Attention to Detales! Details. Detals!
-Able to take ownership of a product and defend various interests
-Understanding new technology, terminology, and ideas quickly and translating technical speak to non-technical people
Bonus points:
-Being software development savvy and understanding coding processes
-Being creative savvy and understanding design thinking
-Being UX savvy and understanding human-centred design and research
-Being tech savvy and understanding various hardware (screens, PCs, projectors, cameras) and how they work
-Being project management savvy in Agile and scrum
