01. Challenge - Communicating Scent through Storytelling.
Leading global luxury house, Tom Ford Beauty, collaborated with Holition in Fall 2023 for the launch of its two new fragrances, CAFÉ ROSE & MYRRHE MYSTÈRE.
Renowned for their intoxicating scents, the brief was to bring each fragrance to life by communicating its ingredients through rich creative digital storytelling.
02. Solution - Digitally-Enabled Fragrance Discovery Experiences.
To bring the CAFÉ ROSE & MYRRHE MYSTÈRE fragrances to life, Holition used sensorial storytelling and stimulation that enveloped users inside the world of each fragrance, revealing the ingredients and subsequent experiences to further bring each scent story to life.
CAFÉ ROSE - A sensuous haze of pleasure.
Café Rose captures the essence of a refined rose infused with the twist of dark coffee. To bring these two unexpected worlds together, Holition captured the richness and opulence of its signature fragrance notes through the introduction of two unique fragrance discovery experiences through sound and taste - a signature soundtrack that captures the sensuality of Cafè Rose and curated cocktail recipes created by the iconic Bemelmans Bar at the Carlyle Hotel.

MYRRHE MYSTÈRE - A timeless richness, unlocking a modern serenity.
Myrrhe Mystère combines powerfully grounding myrrh essences and a modern Ultra-Vanille accord, unlocking one's senses through a richly luminous aura. This powerful narrative served as the starting point to introduce a fragrance discovery experience through sensory semantics and vibrational expression. Within the experience, users were invited to participate in grounding, meditative experiences by Deepak Chopra, to allow users to identify their individual aura whilst being immersed inside the world of the fragrance.

03. Insight - Creative Storytelling through Sensory Stimulation.
Through creative storytelling and sensory semantics that are inspired by Tom Ford's intoxicating scents and the rich stories within its perfumes, the result is an enigmatic experience that brings a new dimension to fragrance discovery by addressing consumer needs around dynamic experiences that aid in choice paralysis, olfactory limitations, and fragrance note or ingredient education.
