01. Challenge - 'I Want To Try Her Look'

In 2015, Rimmel approached Holition to see if it was possible to build an app that could 'steal' looks in real time. We said yes and we built it: the world's first app where you can snap a photo of any face - live, from a screen, or anywhere - and steal that look to virtually try on and purchase.

02. Solution - See It, Snap It, Try It

Within the app, users can locate a face and snap a photo, or browse through preuploaded looks to find a look they'd like to try. Upon upload or snapping within the platform, the app very quickly analyses the face and makeup, to map this into Rimmel products that could be virtually tried on and purchased. Holition's unique facial analysis software makes it possible to accurately complete this process in under 10 seconds, making for a believable and authentic try-on experience.
